Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano claims the German outfit are set to sign the 19-year-old for an undisclosed fee.

Ibrahim is said to be in Berlin with his agent to iron out the fine details of his deal, which reportedly gives Arsenal the option to buy him back in years to come.

Romano wrote on X: “Hertha Berlin agree permanent deal to sign Bradley Ibrahim from Arsenal.

“Player in Berlin with agent Alan Redmond from Roc Nation.

“Exclusive details: Contract until 2027.

“Arsenal will have matching rights. Healthy sell-on clause + add-ons for appearances.”

Arsenal’s decision to sell Ibrahim comes as a surprise as he was recently lauded by Under 18s coach Wilshere – who himself was a graduate of the Gunners academy.

Speaking after his troops booked their spot in the semi-final of last season’s FA semi-final, he told The Athletic: “There are some things that you see from Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ethan Nwaneri, Bradley Ibrahim, Jimi Gower.

“They do things you can’t coach. That’s why they’re at Arsenal.

“They need a few things tactically.

“I like my midfielders to be on the half-turn, play forward and touch forward, dribble if you can.

“We had some moments of brilliance when Myles drives, when Ethan’s on the half-turn, when Amario Cozier-Duberry’s one-v-one.

“If we can get more of those then we’ll be all right. You see it tonight, even though it was Reuell Walters at centre-back.

“When you drive forward it just changes the picture.”
