Britain’s Neal Skupski and American partner Desirae Krawczyk reached the Australian Open mixed doubles semi-finals by beating all-British pairing Heather Watson and Joe Salisbury.

Skupski and Krawczyk won 6-1 6-4 in a match that lasted just 65 minutes.

They are aiming for their third Grand Slam title together after twice winning the mixed doubles at Wimbledon.

They reached the semi-finals at the Australian Open in 2023, but lost to India’s Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna.

Skupski and Krawczyk will play Australian wildcards Olivia Gadecki and Marc Polmans after they beat sixth seeds Gabriela Dabrowski of Canada and American Nathaniel Lammon 6-4 7-6 (9-7).

Krawczyk also won the mixed doubles title at the French Open and US Open in 2021 alongside Salisbury.
