South Australian police have found the body of a missing man who was caught in a rip in waters off the state’s Eyre Peninsula on Friday.
Dan Cojocea, 43, was with family and friends on Friday afternoon when he got caught in the rip at Mary Ellis Beach, south-west of Port Lincoln.
Six other people, including four children, were also caught in the rip, but were able to be rescued by emergency services.
Following a four-day search, police today confirmed the Roxby Downs man’s body was found on a beach nearby just before 8:30am.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
