Djed Spence moves to Genoa

Djed Spence has officially been announced as a Genoa player.

Spence has joined Genoa on loan as part of Tottenham’s deal for Radu Dragusin.

The wing back had been on loan at Leeds but the move was cut short due to Daniel Farke’s concerns over his attitude.

He will wear the number 90 for the club.

Newcastle may be forced to sell

Newcastle have admitted they may have to sell one of their star players to fall in line with FFP regulations in the near future according to The Times.

Alexander Isak, Sven Botman or Bruno Guimarães are all names mentioned that could potentially leave the club.

The club recorded a £73.4million loss this year.

Sancho on returning to Dortmund

Jadon Sancho has said that it feels like being “home” after he returned to Borussia Dortmund on loan today.

The player told the club’s media team: “When I came into the dressing room today, it felt like coming home. 

“I know the club inside and out, I’ve always been very close with the fans here and I’ve never lost contact with those in charge. 

“I can’t wait to see my team-mates again, go out on the pitch, play football with a smile on my face, assist goals, score goals and help qualify for the Champions League.”

Haaland backs Sancho move

Erling Haaland showed his appreciation of Jadon Sancho returning to Borussia Dortmund on Instagram today.

The Man City forward posted a photo of Sancho’s unveiling t his Instagram with the caption “beautiful” alongside a lovestruck emoji.

The Bundesliga giants paid a loan fee of £3m and will cover part of the Manchester City academy graduate’s wages.

Charlton eye striker

Charlton are keen on signing Ipswich striker Freddie Ladapo after being frustrated in their attempts to sign Peterborough forward Jonson Clarke-Harris.

Ladapo scored 17 League One goals for the Tractor Boys last season as they won promotion.

However, he has been limited to just two starts in the Championship this term.

The 30-year-old has 18 months left on his contract at Portman Road.

Safe hands

Portsmouth have agreed a deal to sign former Arsenal and Luton goalkeeper Matt Macey on a free transfer. 

Macey, 29, has been without a club since leaving Luton in September.

The 6ft, 7in keeper returns to Portsmouth after spending the second half of last season at the club.
