The once loved-up couple spent New Years Eve apart, just months after setting up home together and looking to the future.
Maisie, 25, and The Wanted star Max, 35, got together last summer after a two-year friendship, which began on the 2020 series of Strictly Come Dancing, turned to romance.
But former EastEnders star Maisie spent the festive period with her very close knit family.
The usually active social media star has been very quiet online over the last month and last posted six weeks ago.
Last night she told fans she was “so blessed” to spent another year with her dog, but failed to mention Max.

After noticing her absence, one person asked Maisie: “Do you not post on insta anymore?”
And another person questioned if she was OK, commenting: “Shame ya lost that great smile you used to have in pictures.”
Max, who showed his devotion to Maisie by getting a huge inking of her face, has also been very absent online, last posting seven weeks ago and he hasn’t kept his fans up to date over Christmas.
Maisie made the move from Essex to Manchester to be with Max last year.
The actress admitted that she thought he was The One, telling The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine: “I do. We have so many plans and I see so much of my future with him – stuff I didn’t even know I was capable of seeing. It still feels like the honeymoon stage. I don’t know at what point that ends, but we’re still there.”
The 13-year age gap has often proved a talking point throughout their romance, but Maisie has always been too loved-up to care.
“If it wasn’t that, it would be something else,” she said. “People don’t understand what goes on behind closed doors in a relationship, and I think they also forget that I’m a consenting 21-year-old woman who’s actually been working longer than Max!
“I don’t notice the age difference and neither do my friends or family. My mum Julia is the one who reads through all the comments. I got a message from her yesterday, saying: ‘Just ignore them, you two were made for each other.’
“I think that just puts it into perspective. I really don’t care what a random person thinks of my relationship when everyone I do care about is incredibly supportive. I’ve been in the business long enough to know you have to have a thick skin.”
