A CAR expert has stunned drivers after transforming an abandoned 1959 Ford Anglia into a brand new race car in 30 minutes.
The depleted rust bucket underwent a remarkable recovery to get it back on the road and turn it into a thing of beauty.
In a video uploaded onto YouTube by the Urchfab account, viewers were able to witness two years of hard graft come together in half an hour.
As they watched, the vintage motor became almost unrecognisable as it transformed into a “track day weapon”.
The car expert gave the 1959 Ford Anglia 100e a modern twist and even named it “the Mongrel (Aka, The Mushy Pea)”.
By combining parts from two vehicles, the car expert was able to bring together their best parts into a hybrid creation.
The rotting white colour of before was now a smooth and shiny shade of brown.
New wheels also helped to give it that modern twist.
In the comments section, fellow car enthusiasts were full of praise for the work they’d just witnessed.
One person said: “This might be one of the coolest builds I’ve ever seen. Your fab work is amazing. And your attention to detail is on point. That paint colour is also 10/10!”
A second added: “You, my friend, are an amazing welder/fabricator. Your skill level blew my away. You are a phenomenal talent.”
A third chimed: “Amazing fabrication skills coupled with refined design sense. One of the best builds I’ve seen.”
