A 25-year-old man has been airlifted to hospital after being buried in a sand hole near a remote campsite, north of Brisbane.
Emergency services were called to the site at Woorim on Bribie Island early on Saturday afternoon.
It is understood the man had been under the sand for some time.
He was flown to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
