Police have declared a crime scene following an alleged stabbing in Brisbane’s CBD.

Officers said an altercation broke out between two men, who were known to each other, at a hotel on Mary Street this morning.

At least one person suffered a serious stab wound.

Zoe Featherstone witnessed emergency services respond to the incident.

“There were about four ambulances and three police cars,” Ms Featherstone said.

“We saw two police officers running down the street towards the hotel.”
