The 950,000 Corsas in the UK have on average increased to £2,197 from £1,136, a 93 per cent rise.

Next is the Vauxhall Astra, up from £1,069 to £1,998 — an 87 per cent jump, says Auto Trader.
The Renault Megane in third was up 80 per cent.
In the same time, gold rose 21 per cent, UK homes 24 per cent and the FTSE100 3 per cent.
Corsa owner Andy Fitzgerald, 43, of St Albans, Herts, said his 2002 model had 120,000 miles on the clock, but was still going strong.
The garage owner said: “I love my little Corsa, but if someone offered me two grand for it, I’d bite their hands off.”
