With Ant McPartlin set to return to the show alongside co-host Dec Donnelly, EastEnders favourite Natalie Cassidy has hinted at a possible appearance.
In an exclusive interview with OK Magazine, the soap star hinted she could be in the upcoming lineup for the 2023 series.
When asked if she would do more reality TV in the future, Natalie replied: “I never say never to anything. If I end up in the jungle one time, you know that I’m paying my mortgage!”
The Sonia Fowler actress is no stranger to reality TV having appeared on the seventh series of Strictly Come Dancing and the ninth series of Celebrity Big Brother.
The Sun on Sunday previously revealed jockey Frankie Dettori, This Morning host Josie Gibson, ex-EastEnders star Danielle Harold, Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson and rapper Flavor Flav are also in the I’m A Celeb line-up.
Olivia Attwood, who had to pull out of the show last year for medical reasons, is also thought to be a possible contestant.
The new series is expected to start within the next few weeks.
Eariler this week, a new trailer was released showing hosts Ant and Dec preparing to welcome the stars to a luxurious jungle retreat.
“Come away with us, far, far away, into the heart of a tropical jungle. Dream beneath the stars. Savour exotic cuisine – unlike anything you’ve ever tasted before,” a voiceover said.
Last year’s line-up saw the show take place back Down Under after two years in Wales.
The likes of Boy George, Matt Hancock and Chris Moyles took part, with footballing star Jill Scott taking home the jungle crown.
