Police are now quickly trying to locate the pair, who had both been serving time at Hollesley Bay prison.

The cops believe the men, aged 29 and 39, have fled together at 9pm yesterday and asked for Brits help to find them.

However, Suffolk Police urged the public to not approach the pair if they saw them.

The force said it received a call that Terry and Mitchell were missing from the Category D jail around 7pm.

Terry, who is originally from Norfolk, is described as 6ft 2inches tall with ginger hair and blue eyes.

The 29-year-old is of a thin build with stubble facial hair.

Cops said he also has a tattoo of a star on his lower arm.

Terry is serving a two-year and four-month sentence for “affray, threatening a person with a blade / sharply pointed article in a public place and theft”.

Mitchell, who is from Hertfordshire, is said to be 5ft 10inches tall and also has ginger hair and blue eyes.

He is of a slight build with goatee and has a birthmark on his left arm and hand.

The 39-year-old is currently behind bars for multiple burglary offences.

Suffolk Police said they are now working to try to track the pair down.

They said anyone who knows of Terry and Mitchell’s whereabouts, or has seen them, should not approach them but should contact Suffolk Police, quoting CAD 310 or CAD 311 of 21 October.
