One person has been killed and another has been injured after a tree fell at Darwin’s Botanic Gardens, the ABC understands.
Northern Territory Police have closed all entrances to the popular spot, located north of the Darwin CBD.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 1pm Sunday.
The ABC understands a tree fell on individuals inside the park.
It is also understood one person has been taken to the Royal Darwin Hospital to be treated for injuries.
