The finalists for the Uber Eats Restaurant of the Year Awards have been announced, leaving Brits spoilt for choice.

The food delivery giant has hunted down the best bites across 35 towns and cities to crown the Restaurant of the Year.
Narrowing it down to 33 different types of cuisine, Uber Eats have now unveiled their list of national finalists who made the cut.
The winning restaurants will now compete to win a cut of the £200,000 cash prize to invest in their business.
But they have to get past a panel of hard-hitting judges first – including Bake Off’s Prue Leith and Chef Monica Galetti.
Content creator Seema Pankhania and Be Inclusive Hospitality founder and CEO Lorraine Copes will also weighing up the winner.
The formidable foursome will crown the victor of various categories, as well as announcing the top eatery in the country.
The triumphant takeaway will be announced during a star-studded ceremony, which promises to celebrate the best eateries in each region.
Brorrito’s, South East London

The jewel in the crown of the capital’s takeaways has been named as Brorritos, who tout themselves as “burrito experts”.
The Mexican-inspired kitchen promises to “wrap and strap the fastest burritos in the world” while prioritising freshness for customers.
Everything is made on site daily by the crew, which is headed up by two pals who started their business as a popup during lockdown.
The lads began “experimenting” in their uni kitchen and picked up the tricks of the trade watching online tutorials.
Three years later, they boast a mouthwatering menu with the likes of Beef Birria Tacos, Loaded Fries and a Cauli Popper Broritto on offer.
Natty’s Jerk Kitchen, South East

According to Uber Eats, the best takeaway in the South East is Natty’s Jerk Kitchen.
Punters can expect to dive into mouth-watering Caribbean cuisine and explore classic recipes with authentic spices.
The restaurant serves fried jerk burger, rice and peas, corn on the cob and plantain.
Lyfbar, Midlands

LyfBar is a healthy snack bar that provides customers with delicious and nutritious snacks made from high-quality, natural ingredients.
The company’s products are designed to promote a healthy lifestyle and are suitable for people with a wide range of dietary requirements.
The health conscious eatery serves the likes of Grass Fed Flank Steak served with rice and veggies.
Sakushi, Yorkshire

Sheffield-based restaurant Sakushi took the top prize for Yorkshire.
The Japanese eatery has been supporting its local community for 16 years and boasts incredible Asian cuisine.
It has collected a number of awards and was previously voted Yorkshire’s best takeaway at the British Takeaway Awards.
Brack Burger, North East

Newcastle’s Brack Burger takes the top spot for the North East.
The eatery has proved a huge hit on the local food scene since ever since it was set up by brothers Joe and Ollie Brack in 2021
Their mouth-watering menu includes the BBQ Boss burger, the Halloumi Heaven burger and the a bacon double burger served with peanut butter.
Sandwich Sandwich, South West

The South West’s top prize went to Sandwich Sandwich in Bristol.
The family-run business has built a name for itself for more than a decade with its incredibly large sandwiches jam-packed with layers.
It originally opened in 2010 as Cothan Sandwich Co before rebranding to Sandwich Sandwich two years later.
Picnic, North West

Picnic in Liverpool took the top eatery prize in the North West.
They are best known for their delicious sandwiches, burritos and juices.
The “healthy fast food” option has gone from strength-to-strength and lets you indulge in your favourites without the guilt.
Haystack Cafe, Wales

Haystack Cafe in Swansea took the Welsh prize for their delicious brunch menu.
The humble local cafe is renowned for its great coffee, delicious food and friendly staff.
The Haystack brunch options are always a huge hit and they even have their own exclusive pancake menu for those with a sweet tooth.
Big Manny’s, Scotland

Scotland‘s best takeaway went to a pizzeria – Big Manny’s in Aberdeen.
The restaurant serves 18″ NYC-style pizza, with options including Flamin’ Hot Cheetos & Chicken, The Italian style-Tony Soprano and Vegan She Ain’t No Chick.
Locke Burger, Ireland

The gong for Ireland’s best eatery went to Locke Burger in Limerick.
The restaurant opened at the end of the first Covid lockdown and has been a hit ever since.
Boasting outdoor seating by the river, punters can expect to enjoy excellent food with a view.
Seed, Northern Ireland

Belfast’s Seed rounded off the top restaurants as they took the prize for Northern Ireland.
The breakfast bar is a health focused eatery, popular with local patrons and tourists.
