Kimberley Leonard has signed off from the 24 hour rolling news channel for the final time.
The journalist and anchor has been a familiar to Sky fans for the past seven years.
However, she announced on social media she was leaving the station for a “new adventure”.
Kimberley presented her final bulletins today before becoming emotional at the end of the 1pm hour.
As she attempted to bring viewers the latest weather forecast, she could be heard fighting back tears.
She then told viewers after pausing and taking a deep breath: “This is going to be tough.”
Producers then cut out of the weather and muted Kimberley’s microphone as the Sky News logo flashed up on screen.
Announcing her departure, over the weekend, she said: “I’m leaving Sky News and heading off on a new adventure.
“More info on that to come – but please join me for #Breakfast tomorrow and mid-morning on Monday for my last shifts.
“And please do send pictures of where you’re watching from.”
