Occasional Digest - a story for you

SHOPPERS are racing their way to House of Fraser after a woman managed to bag a bargain ELLE coat for a fraction of the original price.

Taking to social media, Lou Young shared a screenshot of the coat she bought from the brand, which was originally £100.

The coat was in a navy shade with a white fluffy interior and two pockets on either side.

Instead of paying full price, however, she managed to get it for just £20.

“Bargain for the girls for the winter,” she wrote in the caption of the post, which was shared on the Facebook page Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group.

People flocked to the comments to share their thoughts as one person asked: “Have you a link please? Or where from?”

Lou replied: “House of Fraser sale”.

Another person revealed: “Bought this coat for granddaughter. Well worth the £20. Lovely coat x”.

While a third person warned people that it’s for girls between the ages of 3-4 only.

People who have already bought the coat have shared their own opinions in the review section of the website.

“I bought this in the sale and am delighted with it,” one person said, while another shared: “Excellent service and value for money”.

House of Fraser has a huge sale on at the moment, with ELLE retailing items of clothing for as little as £3.50.

And, unlike what the person who said the age range is, there are items available for girls of all ages.

There are joggers for £4, a 6-piece baby set for £12, jumpers for £5 and heavy duty coats for as little as £14, too.

But ELLE is not the only brand the retail giant has a sale on for currently as Barbour, All Saints, Valentino Bags, Ted Baker, Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, and more all have up to 70 percent off.

What’s more is that the sale extends to home & electricals, sports & fitness, bags & luggage and shoes & boots

Meanwhile, shoppers are racing to snap up homeware in Asda and it’s scanning for as little as 90p.

And some are rushing to pick up a fancy electric toothbrush that’s scanning at the tills for £6.99 rather than £28.
