Lauren James’ stunning strike gave the Lionesses the lead against the Danes just after six minutes.

However, before the half-time whistle, midfielder Keira Walsh went down with a knee injury and was stretched off.

But despite the injury and Denmark hitting the post later on in the match, England remain top of the Group D table with one game to go.
