Occasional Digest - a story for you

MANCHESTER UNITED are now live battling Wrexham in a huge pre-season friendly in San Diego.

Paul Mullin was injured in the first 20 minutes after colliding with United’s goalkeeper Nathan Bishop, forcing the forward out of the game.

Just seconds before the half, United get one back.

It has been a memorable tour of the States for Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney‘s newly-promoted Wrexham, with matches against Chelsea and LA Galaxy.

  • Wrexham recent form

Wrexham are coming off their first win of the summer friendlies, plowing through the LA Galaxy.

Although the Galaxy played their second unit, it was still a convincing effort by the Welsh club.

Wrexham hero and lead goal scorer Paul Mullin slotted in his first preseason tally in the dominant performance. Last season Mullin scored a ridiculous 38 goals in 46 appearances in the National League for the club.

In their first preseason game, The Red Dragons were shutout by a young Chelsea side.

Tonight, expect a crowd with a fair amount of Wrexham support against one of the most renowned English clubs of all time.
