Now the 3,300sq ft house is up for rent from July 3 — for more than £6,000 a week.

Estate agents Rigby & Marchant described the home on their website as a “tranquil haven”.

But some said the pad was a little pricey, with one person responding to the post: “26k per month in rent is mental.”

And others were shocked the rear garden looked astroturfed.

One Mumsnet user commented: “I hope that is very manicured grass.”
