An 18-year-old has been hospitalised after she was allegedly stabbed at a school in Far North Queensland.
An 18-year-old man has been taken into custody over the alleged incident at Peace Lutheran College in the Cairns suburb of Kamerunga.
Queensland Ambulance Service said paramedics took the girl to Cairns Hospital in a critical condition.
Police say the pair are believed to have known one another and that there is no ongoing threat to the public.
Officers were called to the school about 10:35am.
