Celebrity Big Brother star Patsy Palmer has issued a response following a series of awkward interviews after her exit from the house as the studio fell silent during her exit chat

Evictee Patsy Palmer has issued a response after leaving some Celebrity Big Brother viewers feeling awkward during her exit chat. The EastEnders star was brutally booted out the ITV house in a shock triple elimination earlier this week.

She followed Angellica Bell and Ella Rae Wise out the house on Tuesday night, before returning to spin-off show Late and Live to give her verdict on the experience. Patsy joined a live studio audience to discuss her time in the famous abode, where she faced questions from hosts AJ Odudu, Will Best and the crowd.

She didn’t seem impressed when quizzed on her clash with Mickey Rourke in the house before he was booted out for his shocking behaviour.

He had complained to the soap star about her broccoli, which prompted host Will to ask her what it was like. Will said: “There were a few tricky moments that you had to deal with in there, people complaining about broccoli – that was one, but you seemed to move past that?”

Patsy shook her head as she refused to say anything. Will asked: “You don’t want to talk about the broccoli?” While Patsy remained silent, AJ added: “Did it upset you that Mickey complained to your face about the food?”

She still didn’t seem impressed as she responded: “Not really that…,” before the hosts agreed to move on from Mickey chat.

Fans were taken a back by Patsy’s silence on the live show as one viewer said: “Wow that was super awkward. Patsy was NOT impressed with the broccoli question.”

Another added: “I’m continuously torn between thinking Patsy is hilarious & the most iconic woman and also feeling like she’s about to lamp someone in the face… I could feel Will’s heartbeat through the screen when he asked about the broccoli.”

Since getting back on social media, Patsy has shared her true feelings amid the awkward claims. On her Instagram Story, Patsy wrote: “There’s nothing awkward about silence. It says it all!”

She then shared a quote from Vivienne Westwood that read: “The sexiest people are thinkers.” Another quote she shared said: “I get to choose.

“I get to choose how I respond to my present environment. I get to choose the words I speak and the energy I bring. I get to choose whether to feed certain thoughts of gently shift my focus somewhere more productive.

“So I remind myself that I am more powerful than I realise. And even when I can’t control everything around me, I can choose how I show up. And this choice is where my true power lies.”

Patsy didn’t stop there as she posted another quote that read: “If you can’t be kind, be quiet.”

The actress also caused a stir during her appearance on Lorraine this morning as she stayed silent again when asked about Mickey. When Lorraine brought up Mickey’s controversial time on the show, Patsy stopped speaking.

Lorraine said: “They lost Mickey very early on. I mean, what a strange fella that was.” Lorraine then began laughing as Patsy stayed silent before the TV presenter added: “Very, very odd indeed. You quickly found out that he was gone, that he was away.” Looking solemn, Patsy replied: “Hmm. Yeah.”
