And while Faith wanted to have perfectly straight, white gnashers, she wasn’t prepared to shell out that much for them.

So instead, she shopped around, and found that getting the dental procedure done in Dubai would only cost her £2,000.
Not only that, but she wouldn’t have to have her teeth filed down to pegs, which is what’s done in Turkey so the veneers have something to attach to.
And after getting multiple requests to detail what she’d had done, and where she’d had it done, Faith decided to oblige in a video on her TikTok page.
“I recently got my teeth done in Dubai for only £2,000 – and I got the whole set, top and bottom,” she began.
“They are Emax veneers, so they don’t shave your teeth down, they just put them on top of your natural teeth.
“And they’re meant to last about 10 to 20 years.”
Faith added that her flatmate has had his Emax veneers for six years with “no issues”, so she decided to take the plunge herself.
She was given four tooth colours to choose from for her new smile, and opted for the “whitest shade” they had.
One doctor – Dr Suzanna – had come highly recommended, so Faith went with her, and the affordability was another massive plus.
“In the UK, it’s £2,000 for Emax veneers per tooth,” Faith continued.
“So for her to do a full set for £2,000 is a bargain!”
Sharing the price list she’d been given, Faith added that as she lives in Dubai, she went for the 14-day turnaround.
But if you needed them done faster, when on holiday or something, you would have to pay a lot more.
Faith had just had Invisalign before she decided to get the veneers, so the doctor was working with some already straight teeth.
However, she can also work her magic with wonky teeth.
When Faith first had the veneers, her gums bled, which led to the doctor putting her on antibiotics.
Dentist-approved teeth whitening tips

Seek whitening treatment from a professional. It’s often stronger and will be the most effective so you don’t waste your money on a product that doesn’t work or may harm you. You also only get one set of teeth, so it’s best not to experiment on them.
Consider the cause of the staining. There are numerous causes for teeth to have a yellow or brown tint. Be sure to get evaluated and diagnosed by a professional to ensure you receive the best treatment for your stains. Not all stains are the same so they may require different treatments.
Consider your lifestyle, smile goals, and budget. When choosing a whitening treatment that is best for you, consider multiple factors when designing a custom plan. Some people like homework to whiten at home, some prefer in-office treatments only, some need to get really bright really fast — for a wedding, for example — whereas others would like a more gentle, gradual, consistent approach to whitening.
Ease into it. Start integrating teeth whitening into your routine gradually to get your teeth accustomed to it and you can closely monitor your level of sensitivity to regulate how frequently you can whiten.
Try to prevent. Make tiny changes to your lifestyle in an effort to prevent staining from penetrating your teeth. For example, sip staining beverages through a straw, swish with plain water after drinking anything staining, and pick flat water over sparkling whenever possible.
Water floss to help in between the teeth stains. Blast away stubborn stains in between your teeth with a water flosser, because toothbrush bristles can only reach so much of your tooth surface.
But she’s had them on for around a month now, with no further issues.
The only thing Faith wasn’t keen on about the process is that she didn’t get to choose the finished look of her teeth,
“Basically, they do a 3D scan, and then they do the teeth per your teeth,” she explained.
“So, you don’t get to show them what you want kind of thing.”
She added that she’d wanted a “straight line” across her teeth, and didn’t want the “fangs” – aka canine teeth – to come down lower than the rest.
But the doctor insisted she wouldn’t want the teeth to be straight across because it would look way too fake.
“So you don’t really get to choose… It’s kind of like what they think would look better for your mouth,” she said.
In terms of the pain involved in getting the veneers, Faith said it “wasn’t painful at all”.
That’s mainly because she didn’t have to have any injections in her mouth, as the veneers are attached using a kind of “superglue”.
“And when you do choose to take them off,she just said that they will just be like, you know when you got acrylics on and you take them off and then your nails a little bit like gritty.
“It’ll just feel like that.”
Faith added that she doesn’t think she can “ever go back to my other teeth now I’ve got them done”.
“They just improve your smile so much,” she said.
