Three iconic previous housemates have reportedly snubbed whopping six-figure deals to make a comeback on Celebrity Big Brother. Despite the producers’ eagerness to have the fan favourites return, the stars are said to have declined the lucrative offers.

Gemma Collins, 44 and singers Jedward, 33, are among some of the show’s most memorable housemates, but it seems they weren’t keen on entering the house once more. Harry Clark, who clinched victory in The Traitors in 2024, is also said to have given the show a miss.

An insider revealed to The Sun’s Bizarre column: “Gemma Collins and Jedward were both offered deals reaching into six figures.” They added, “They both love attention and the show but felt like it would be a step backwards.”

Meanwhile, Mickey Rourke is rumoured to have landed a hefty paycheck for his stint on the ITV show. The 72 year old silver screen icon, famed for his performances in The Wrestler and 9 1/2 Weeks, is reportedly the last celebrity to confirm participation in the ITV reality series, which kicks off on April 7 and wraps up on April 25.

Insiders suggest that Rourke, with an estimated fortune of £3.8 million, will bag a six-figure sum to join other stars such as JoJo Siwa, 20, Chesney Hawkes, 52, and Patsy Palmer, 51. However, there’s buzz that the Hollywood heavyweight might exit the show prematurely, potentially throwing a spanner in the works for the production team.

A source told MailOnline.com: “The last time he was really big was during The Wrestler, and he, like everyone else, needs to pay some bills.”

They continued, “So doing the show is a no-brainer. He’s a producer’s dream because he has loads of stories, is a loose cannon, and is considered a huge get.

“Producers always hope for the train-wreck, but being a revelation works as well. If we see a new side of Mickey, that could work. The worst-case scenario would be if he left early. When he did The Masked Singer a few years ago, he eliminated himself.”

Mickey is set to join the Big Brother house with a mixed bag of celebrities including Love Island series 3 star Chris Hughes, 31, athletic legend Daley Thompson, 65, Coronation Street‘s very own Jack P Shepherd, 36, the politically charged Sir Michael Fabricant, 73, and the dazzling RuPaul’s Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard, 31.
