AJ Odudu and Will Best are hosting Celebrity Big Brother again this year, and let slip that they ‘couldn’t believe’ who the housemates are after getting a look and the line-up in advance

Celebrity Big Brother: AJ Odudu and Will Best rehearse for new series
Celebrity Big Brother hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best have teased who to expect in the house last week. The duo said that they’d just learned the full line-up, and were more than impressed by the names involved. The celeb Big Brother spinoff will air on ITV1 on April 7, and the ITV has remained tight-lipped about who their housemates are this year.
As hosts, however, AJ and Will got their hands on the cast list early, and hinted that viewers should start getting excited. AJ filmed herself and her colleague as they drove to the CBB stage in order to prep for next week’s kickoff. The TV star announced: “It’s going to be great, and we’ve just found out who the housemates are. Guys! It’s major.”
“I cannot actually believe it,” Will said, as AJ added: “Major! So yeah, make sure that you’ve cancelled all plans this Monday.”
The duo then arrived at the CBB site, cutting themselves off before they could give anything too big away. The clip was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, where fans shared their excitement and made it clear they didn’t want to be let down.
“I feel like they’re doing all this and it’s gonna be David Platt from Corrie,” one sceptic wrote, while another exclaimed: “I’m so excited !!!”
“Ahhh so happy, can’t wait for Monday,” a third fan said, with a fourth person jokingly threatening: “I am coming back to this on Monday night to see if they were lying through their teeth.”
While AJ and Will said that the lineup is “major”, Will previously shared his belief that a good cast doesn’t necessarily have to mean all A-listers.
He explained: “Once it starts, the size of the names don’t necessarily matter, it’s just how people fit together. That’s always the most important thing, and I think when they are casting the celeb one, they put as much thought into how is this group going to work together.
“That I think is always more important than just, let’s just get the biggest names. That said, I’m sure there will be some big names.”
If rumours are to be believed, there will be plenty of big names regardless. While ITV hasn’t confirmed or denied who’s entering the CCB house, rumours suggest that on the acting side, we might see Hollywood legend Goldie Hawn, EastEnders actress Patsy Palmer, and Coronation Street star Jack P. Shepherd on the show.
It’s also been said that singer Chesney Hawkes is signed up, alongside fellow musician JoJo Siwa – real name Joelle Joanie – the US popstar who rose to fame as a child on Dance Moms back in 2015.
Alongside the performers, reports also claim that Olympic decathlete Daley Thompson will enter the house, joining reality TV personalities Ella Morgan and Chris Hughes and drag performer Danny Beard.
