IT can cost up to a whopping £1,250 to employ a professional to panel a wall.
So instead of forking out thousands, Lauren decided to try and do it herself, with a kit she snapped up from Amazon.
She spent £29.95 on the 10-piece kit, to put on the wall behind her bed, and took to TikTok to share a look at the transformation.
“£30 Amazon panel kit, to go on this wall,” she wrote over the top of the video.
Lauren began by squirting some adhesive on the back of the wooden strips, before fixing them to the wall – using a level to make sure everything was measured correctly.
Once she’d finished sticking on the strips, she used caulk to give the best finish, before she started painting the wall.
After that, she attached some LED lights to sit above the bed, before putting everything back in place.
“Budget friendly bedroom makeover,” Lauren added in the caption.
And people in the comments section were quick to praise Lauren for the amazing makeover, with one writing: “I love this idea – It looks fab by the way!”
“This looks so good,” another added.
“Job well done,” a third said.
“That’s lovely, well done!” someone else gushed.
“Looks beautiful,” someone else said.
“What’s the colour? It’s lovely,” another asked.
To which Lauren replied: “It’s called Snowfall by Crown – it’s like a dove grey.”
“Looks so lovely, well done,” someone else said.
“I love the colour.”
The positive reviews kept on coming in the reviews section of the Amazon kit.
