TWO teenagers have died after a fatal late-night motorbike crash in Wrexham.
The male driver and his pillion passenger were both killed in the horror accident with cops now launching a probe into the cause of the crash.
The deadly single vehicle collision took place just before 11pm on Friday night.
Police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene on Wrexham Road, New Broughton and saw a smashed up yellow Honda 125cc motorcycle.
Both men onboard, aged 18 and 19 years old, were taken to a nearby hospital but were pronounced dead shortly after.
The families of both men have been informed with them now being supported by specialist officers.
Sergeant Liam Morris of the Serious collision Investigation Unit has asked for anyone with information to come forward and contact officers.
Morris said: “Our profound sympathies are with all affected by this tragic incident.
“We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision and are yet to speak to us, or anybody who may have been travelling in the area at around the time of the collision.”
He added that anyone with dashcam footage showing the yellow motorcycle around the time of the crash should help with the investigations.
Morris continued: “We’d also like to thank those who stopped to help at the scene, and to motorists for their patience whilst the road was closed to allow our Forensic Collision Investigators to carry out their initial enquiries.”
The road between Coed Efa lane and Dale Road was closed for some time as investigations were carried out at the scene.
It has since been reopened.
