STEPHEN Fry has revealed why he shuns events with his husband Elliott after last being pictured together SIX years ago
Normally known for keeping quiet about his private life, the TV and film star, 67, talked openly about his marriage to Elliot, 36.
Stephen Fry, who is back hosting the UK version of Jeopardy!, reveals all on tonight’s The Jonathan Ross Show.
In a sneak peek to this evening’s episode the legendary actor opens up about his romance with his husband of ten years, who is 30 years his junior.
The couple – who are based in Hollywood – shun showbiz parties, which is why they haven’t been photographed together in six years.
Instead they prefer a quiet life at their LA home watching the telly.
Speaking to host Jonathan Ross, Stephen said: “I was on The Morning Show [in the US]. I had dinner with my American agent, he said, ‘What do you do when you’re not called on set?’ and I said, ‘My husband and I, we don’t go to Hollywood parties much, we have an early supper, watch Jeopardy! go to bed…'”
MEETING STEPHEN
Elliot – who is a comedian – met Stephen Fry in 2014 and their romance began that summer.
He was known as Mr. E before he and Stephen unveiled their relationship to the world.
Stephen proposed to Elliot at a restaurant in London in 2015, and the pair wed that same year.
They had their vows witnessed by a mini Oscar Wilde.
Speaking to The Independent about their relationship, Elliot said: “I don’t care what people think. Stephen is the love of my life, the light of my life.”
“We laugh all the time,” he added.
“Humour is the binding thing in our life.
“I think that’s what brought us together. It’s been incredible.
“We met at a house party three years ago after we were introduced by friends.
“The rest is history.”

“And those friends who have known have been very kind about it.
“I’m lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful people.
“Lucky to have such an incredibly team working for me.
“And lucky to have an immune system working for me.”
