In honour of Sign Language Week, Preply, an online language learning provider, have challenged readers to test their observational skills.

The illusion contains multiple hands all showing the BSL symbol for “I love you”.

Not to be confused with the devil horns motion, the sign involves holding up your thumb, index finger, and pinky finger at once.

However, somewhere in the image one of the hands is holding up a different sign.

While similar, the gesture is slightly different, so keep an eye out on the fingers of each hand.

Whether you plan to scan the image at random or check each hand individually, there are no rules.

If you need a hint, we can reveal the odd hand out only has the pinky finger and thumb held up.

Depending on how the sign is held, this can mean anything from kettle to plane.

So peel your eyes and look out for the lone sign among the declarations of love.

But remember you only get bragging rights if you spot it in seven seconds or less.

Everyone can see the people -you need 20-20 vision to work out who’s the robot

The out of place sign is hiding in plain sight, so look carefully around the image.

If you need a hint, we recommend focusing on the centre of the brainteaser.
