A third of mums travelling with their kids are also seeking something completely new and exciting, with safaris top the list of activities, followed by zip-lining and white-water rafting.

It’s not just adventure and adrenaline mums are seeking – almost four in 10 say they love a good night out and a third are up for a beach club experience.

The research found mums aren’t just great travel companions, they also bring a practical perk, including always packing the essentials, looking after the passports and even helping to pack suitcases.
