CLAIRE Sweeney swooned over a ‘handsome’ Coronation Street co-star following her split from Ricky Hatton.
Claire, 53, who plays Cassie Plummer, started dating boxing legend Ricky after both competed in Dancing on Ice last year.

However, the pair ultimately went their separate ways after eight months together.
Claire gushed about one of her co-stars during a recent appearance on the Off Script… podcast,
Referring to Jacob Roberts, who portrays Kit Green, she said: “I tell you what, he’s a good-looking bugger isn’t he?
“He’s handsome and a really nice guy, a lovely, lovely lad.”

Claire also showered praise on another fellow Corrie star, Jack P. Shepherd.
The actor, 37, has appeared as David Platt in the ITV soap since 2000.
Claire said: “I love old Corrie and I was looking at some footage the other day when he was a kid, coming in ordering a pint in the Rovers.
“Even then you could see what a great little actor he is and he’s really proving his chops at the moment, he’s such a good actor.”
Claire and Ricky initially dated in secret, before going public with their romance.
Upon their split, a source told MailOnline how there had been “no fallout” and the pair remained “good friends”.
They added: “They decided they’re better off as pals and are no longer romantically together.”
Continuing, the insider said the couple’s different lifestyles is what came between them, despite a lot of shared interests.
They added: “While Claire is one of the biggest stars on Coronation Street and is very career-gliding, Ricky’s more freewheeling and unpredictable.”
The former couple had been friends for 25 years before things became romantic between them.
Speaking previously on Lorraine, Claire said: “We always passed each other at events, we did a TV show together.
“First of all I met him in La Manga in the early 2000s and then we did dance for Comic Relief together in 2013 and then met on Dancing On Ice. It’s been great.”
Before her relationship with Ricky, Claire split from ex Daniel Reilly in 2017.
Claire and Daniel have a son, Jaxon, together.
