MICHELLE Trachtenberg has been snubbed from tonight’s Oscars in memoriam – leaving viewers furious over the oversight.

The beloved actress passed away just five days ago and fans tuning into tonight’s Academy Awards were outraged that the show did not pay tribute to her long career.

Although Michelle had never been nominated for an Oscar, she has been starring in films since she was 11 years old – starting out her acting career with the iconic 1996 film Harriet the Spy.

She went on to star in fan-favorite movies such as Ice Princess, Eurotrip and Inspector Gadget.

By the time of her passing at the age of 39, Michelle had accumulated 64 acting credits in film as well as TV.

Oscars viewers were not quiet about their disappointment in Michelle being snubbed from the emotional segment.

“Michelle Trachtenberg not being mentioned in the in memoriam section of the oscars is upsetting , you are and will remain so so loved and admired Michelle,” one wrote.

“It’s shameful that the #Oscars didn’t include Michelle Trachtenberg in their memorial montage of all the actors/actresses who have passed within the year!!” another exclaimed.

“Michelle Trachtenberg was not included in the In Memoriam. Feels like a major oversight the week that a 39-year-old who grew up in the industry suddenly died,” a third insisted.

While one more bluntly said: “F**k the #Oscars  for not including Michelle Trachtenberg and Tony Todd in the memorial tribute.”

“Hey, so in the Memoriam, you forgot Michelle Trachtenberg…  Gene Hackman passed after she did and you had time to add him…so disappointed and such a blow to her family,” another posted.

Just one day after Michelle passed away, news broke that legendary actor Gene Hackman had been discovered dead at 95 along with his wife and one of their dogs at their New Mexico home.

Gene, who won two Oscars and was a five-time nominee, was a main focus during the In Memoriam segment.

Morgan Freeman, who starred alongside Gene in the films Unforgiven and Under Suspicion, came out on stage and paid tribute to his former co-star and “dear friend.”

“This week, our community lost a giant, and I lost a dear friend, Gene Hackman,” the Hollywood icon said as he fought back tears while everyone in attendance erupted with applause.

“I had the pleasure of working alongside Gene on two films – Unforgiven and Under Suspicion.

“Like everyone who has ever shared a scene with him, I learned he was a generous performer and a man whose gifts elevated everyone’s work.

“He received two Oscars, but more importantly, he won the hearts of film lovers all over the world.”

Morgan, 87, continued, “Gene always said, I don’t think about legacy, I just hope people remember me as someone who tried to do good work.

“So, I think I speak for us all when I say, Gene, you’ll be remembered for that and for so much more. Rest in peace, my friend.”

Fans have been in shock all week since Gossip Girl and Buffy star Michelle passed away after quietly battling health issues.

Michelle’s mom found her daughter at around 8 am at her 51-story apartment building in Manhattan, cops said.

The star’s family objected to the full report, a spokeswoman for the city medical examiner’s office told the New York Post.

The halted autopsy means the cause of death wasn’t determined because there wasn’t enough information available.

Investigators aren’t expected to look more into her death due to her family’s wishes.

Reports surfaced that she underwent a liver transplant in the months before her death and she was allegedly experiencing complications from the operation.

However, not much else is known about her health as the actress never publicly spoke about her condition.
