Not only did haters accuse her of looking ‘scary’, but others pointed out similarities to Swiss-American socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein, who became widely known for her extensive cosmetic surgeries and was often referred to as ‘Bride of Wildenstein’ and ‘Catwoman‘.

The brunette beauty, who is from New Zealand, took to social media to give her 38,600 TikTok followers a close-up look at her face, leaving many open-mouthed.

In the short clip, the young woman said: “Ok, so this is week four – my eyes are opening up more and more, they’re settling more and more, but I want you guys to remember, I got the fox eye with a temporal lift, with a forehead reduction, which also brought it up and I got a mid face lift.”

Lourissa then acknowledged: “I’m no expert on all of these things, but with all of these things freshly pulling up, yes, it made my face look pretty crazy and it’s still settling now.

“I at least have to give it at least two to four more weeks and then you can really start to see what the results are going to look like, but even then I still have to wait around even the 12 month mark to see final results.”

She claimed that she is “still healing”, as she continued: “I can still feel all swollen as you can see, even my eyes are still quite swollen but it’s also coming down really well and has come down really well since.”

As she showed off her wounded hairline, she confessed: “Also I can’t wait for my hair to start growing back – my hair really thinned around the incision line, but honestly I think it’s gonna look amazing.”

Big divide

But the TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @lourissasetu, has clearly left many stunned, as it has quickly gone viral.

The short video has now racked up 1.8 million views, 33,200 likes and 1,991 comments in just six days.

But social media users were left divided by the clip – whilst many were left horrified by Lourissa’s surgery results, others attempted to be supportive.

The mean trolls raced to the comments to share their thoughts, as one person said: “Babes it looks horrible.”

Another added: “All I see is Jocelyn Wildenstein. Scary.”

Meanwhile, a third asked: “Is it reversible?”

This is so unfortunate

At the same time, someone else wrote: “Usually plastic surgery looks terrible after years but this looks bad right away.”

Not only this, but another keyboard warrior slammed: “Oh this is so unfortunate.”

What are the risks of getting surgery abroad?

IT’S important to do your research if you’re thinking about having cosmetic surgery abroad.

It can cost less than in the UK, but you need to weigh up potential savings against the potential risks.

Safety standards in different countries may not be as high.

No surgery is risk-free. Complications can happen after surgery in the UK or abroad.

If you have complications after an operation in the UK, the surgeon is responsible for providing follow-up treatment.

Overseas clinics may not provide follow-up treatment, or they may not provide it to the same standard as in the UK.

Also, they may not have a healthcare professional in the UK you can visit if you have any problems.

However, at the same time, others were eager to support Lourissa and claimed that she would look ‘fabulous’ once her face had fully healed.

One woman beamed: “You look amazing! I got this done too and looked very natural and normal by the three month mark.

I think you looked beautiful then and you do now too

“People need to trust the process.”

A second chimed in: “Not something I would do, but I think you’re going to look fabulous when it’s all settled … you do you and be happy, ignore the critics.”

And another fan praised: “I think you looked beautiful then and you do now too.”
