Occasional Digest - a story for you

Big fish

Littler admitted when talking to Sky Sports that he was disappointed with how the final went as neither player really played too well.

He perked RIGHT up when the 170 checkout was mentioned – something he celebrated quite ferociously.

On the big fish, all he had to say was: “That was good. It’s been a while since I hit one!”

Level headed

A cut near the nail of his middle finger played havoc with Luke Humphries in last night’s final.

Slightly ironic as he spoke before the game about the need to enjoy every moment as injury could come and take it all away at any moment!

Granted, it won’t keep him out for long but he said: “Stay grounded. Anything can be taken away from you, at the click of a finger. You never know how long you have got in this game.

“You could break your arm. Lose form. Anything can happen. For me, I will always stay humble. I really appreciate being in the Premier League.

“Nights like these you remember, they keep the juices flowing. I love moments like these. They really make me feel good.”
