Rashford replaced Donyell Malen with the hosts leading 2-0.

The England striker was given a hero’s welcome by the home support after joining from United until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old looked full of energy as he attempted to win a header against Danos just seconds after entering the field.

Danso came off second best, appearing to catch an accidental elbow from Rashford.

The challenge resulted in lengthy treatment for the Austrian, who had blood rushing from a wound on his face.
