One woman decided to open up her marriage in order to explore her sexuality and goes on throuple dates with her husband.

In her viral video, the TikTok user Mel (@pursuitofpoly) shared an insight into her unique relationship.
She explained that she has been with her husband Sammy for 19 years and married for 11, describing themselves as “madly in love.”
However, when she reached her late 20s, the TikToker came out as bi-sexual and polyamorous.
Since her husband is straight, she decided to date women alongside him.

They explained that they have remained open-minded on the boundaries as they wouldn’t expect a woman to abide by rules she had no say in creating.
This means that the pair enter every dating situation with no expectations of each other or their third.
They explained that this is because they see love as an “infinite resource” and see no reason to be jealous.
According to the pair, loving someone else “doesn’t diminish” what they feel for each other.
Mel and Sammy added that they will still choose to be together outside of their other relationships.
They even agreed to begin dating a woman separately to see if she would be a match for them individually as well as a couple.
According to the couple, this allowed them to give each other freedom.
However, there have been instances where the woman only wants to date one of them.
Sammy revealed that the most recent woman they dated was only interested in him.
“Our last relationship ended when our girlfriend broke up with my wife,” he said.
While Mel said she was “hurt and sad” to see their throuple end, she explained that she still encouraged her husband to pursue a relationship with the woman.
What is polyamory?
Polyamory is the practice of having romantic relationships with more than one person at the same time, with the knowledge and consent of all parties.
It can refer to relationships where one person has multiple partners or spouses, or where all parties are in a relationship with each other, for example in a throuple.
According to You Gov, 6.8% of people in the UK have been in a polyamorous relationship.
However, the woman revealed that she couldn’t get past the idea of dating a married man.
“Polyamory can be tricky but it’s also beautiful to explore connections without rules,” the couple said.
