The comments ran rife after she shared a video of herself singing her new tune Burning Letters on her TikTok page.
The clip showed her wearing a black top, jeans, black beanie and jacket as she stood in the grounds of what appeared to be an old building and lip synced along to the tune.
“I ain’t angry, I’m just burning letters,” she captioned the video.
However, rather than commenting on the tune itself, people weighed in on her appearance.
“Thought it was Sophie from Geordie Shore,” one person wrote.
“Omg so did I!!!! Sophie Kasaei!” another agreed.
While a third argued she looked more like another Geordie Shore star – Chloe Ferry.
“Beautiful voice, but hardly recognised you,” someone else said.
“Didn’t recognise her,” another added.
“Another pretty lady destroying her natural beauty,” someone else sighed.
“Didn’t recognise her…what has she done..?!” another added.
As someone else agreed that she was “unrecognisable”.
But have you been able to work out who she is?
In fact, it’s ex Atomic Kitten singer Natasha Hamilton.
Natasha joined the girl group in 1999, replacing Heidi Range, and they released their debut single Right Now later that year.
However, they didn’t enjoy success until they released their tune Whole Again, which topped the UK charts and remained in the number one position for four consecutive weeks.

These hair accessories were a huge trend back in the 90s, but are now most popular among those trying out the “clean girl” aesthetic. Designers such as Prada have released their own versions, while there are thousands of colours and styles to choose from on the high street.
Platform flip flops
Again a popular choice among fashionistas in the 90s, these heels have made a comeback with designers such as Balenciaga trying their luck with their own styles.
Cargo pants
Once worn by the stars of All Saints, cargo pants became a popular trend for teens in the 90s. But they’ve now had a fashion overhaul, with stars such as Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber all putting their own spin on the trend.
Jeans and a nice top
It was the phrase that defined fashion for a decade, and now famous faces such as Sofia Richie are sporting the reinvented trend – pairing their own denims with a more sophisticated top. But are you willing to dig your jeans and nice tops out of the wardrobe for a second time?
They went on to have mixed success with their following singles and albums, before announcing in 2004 that they were planning to take a hiatus.
The group went through various formations and comebacks, including an appearance on The Big Reunion, before Natasha announced in October 2024 that she was officially leaving Atomic Kitten.
She said at the time that she had made that decision in order to concentrate on a solo career, and will be releasing her a solo EP “soon”, through the label she founded.
Despite many of the comments on the TikTok video, others defended Natasha.
“Girl you’re like fine wine,” one wrote.
“You’re only getting better with age!”
“She looks beautiful – what’s up with people ?!?” another added.
“The comments are so mean,” a third raged.
