DISGRACED Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs had a Christmas meltdown in prison as he couldn’t believe he was still behind bars over the festive period, it has been claimed.

The music mogul reportedly begged guards to be taken to a prison hospital for observation, claiming he believed he was suffering a breakdown on Thursday.

Guards at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center refused Diddy’s bizarre request, according to a source close to the rapper.

The insider said: “With his high powered legal team Diddy thought he’d be out on bail by now.

“Spending the holidays behind bars was a nightmare for him. He eventually managed to calm himself down with the meditation technique he’s been using while he’s been behind bars.

“It took him a few hours of deep breathing and focusing to get out of the bad space he was in, but he finally managed it.”

But another source close to the disgraced rapper denied the claims.

They told the Daily Mail the rapper is continuing to stay strong in prison – even over the Christmas period which he would usually spend with his kids.

Diddy has also allegedly appeared astonishingly thinner and grey at a recent court hearing after three months in federal custody.

An eyewitness said there was a stark difference in the disgraced rapper’s appearance, fuelling speculation about how prison life is affecting the music mogul once dripped in luxury.

“He appeared just astonishingly thinner, which you can expect [from him being] inside a federal detention center for a couple of months now,” said Law & Crime reporter Elizabeth Millner, who attended the hearing.

“A lot different from the luxury lifestyle that he was living before, but he appeared very noticeably thinner and maybe being locked up in detention is starting to wear on him.”

Millner added that Diddy’s hair also looked noticeably grayer, a far cry from his polished image just days before his arrest in September, when he was seen in Central Park playing hacky sack.

The Sun contacted Sean “Diddy” Combs’ representatives for more information.

Diddy, 55, has repeatedly denied all allegations against him, pleading not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and other related offenses.

A source close to him maintains that he remains “fit, healthy, and fully focused on his defense,” Page Six reports.

Combs is being held at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC), a facility infamous for its grim conditions.

Even with his wealth and status, the rapper receives no special treatment, facing the same austere lifestyle as other inmates.

Meals are basic, with a Thanksgiving spread of turkey roast and mashed potatoes marking one of the few exceptions.

Marc Agnifilo, one of Diddy’s lawyers, admitted that the prison’s food has been the “roughest part” for his client, who was once accustomed to gourmet dining and personal chefs.

Meanwhile, the rapper’s legal team has fought to improve his conditions, claiming that detention is severely hampering his ability to prepare for his upcoming trial, set for May 2025.

The charges against Combs have brought a wave of scrutiny and shocking revelations about his alleged behavior.

Prosecutors claim that Diddy has used illegal methods to influence potential witnesses in his case, the BBC reports.

This includes allegedly contacting them through other inmates’ phone accounts and orchestrating social media posts designed to sway public opinion and potential jurors.

Court documents claim Combs directed his family to post a video celebrating his birthday, later analyzing its audience engagement to gauge its impact on his public image.

Prosecutors also alleged that a woman identified as “witness two” was paid to post a statement on Instagram defending Diddy against separate civil allegations.

It comes after author and former video vixen Elisabeth Ovesen accused Diddy of being part of a “lawless code” in the music industry.

In her 2005 memoir, Confessions of a Video Vixen, Ovesen detailed being sent to Diddy’s home by her then-boyfriend, music executive Irv Gotti, where she claims she was pressured into having sex with the rapper.

“Whenever there was someone who Gotti wanted to impress, he would send me to them, and I would ‘take care’ of them,” she wrote.

Combs was arrested on September 16 in Manhattan by Homeland Security on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.

He was charged on three federal counts, with one alleging he forced his victims to take part in drug-fuelled sex parties he called “freak-offs.”

Combs is facing a slew of accusations, including rape and sexual assault, from some 120 alleged victims in different criminal and civil lawsuits that have been made following his arrest.

The rapper has denied all accusations against him.

He is being held in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center ahead of a trial next year and has been denied bail twice.

What happened during Sean Combs’ ‘freak offs’?

Sean Combs’ infamous drug-fueled freak offs, first revealed by his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura’s lawsuit in November 2023, have become a central narrative of the indictment, which alleges:

  • The music mogul “manipulated women to participate in highly orchestrated performances of sexual activity with male commercial sex workers.”
  • Freak offs “occurred regularly, sometimes lasted multiple days, and often involved multiple commercial sex workers.”
  • Combs “distributed a variety of controlled substances to victims, in part to keep the victims obedient and compliant.”
  • He and the victims “typically received IV fluids to recover from the physical exertion and drug use” after the freak offs.
  • Cops “seized various Freak Off supplies, including narcotics and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant” from his homes in Los Angeles and Miami.
  • Combs “hit, kicked, threw objects at, and dragged victims, at times, by their hair,” during and separate from the freak offs, which “often resulted in injuries that took days or weeks to heal.”
  • He also used the “sensitive, embarrassing, and incriminating recordings” that he made during freak offs as “collateral to ensure the continued obedience and silence of the victims.”
