Dec. 11 (UPI) — Prominent Miami Beach real estate brothers Alon, Oren and Tal Alexanders have been arrested in connection with sexual assault allegations in Florida and New York, the Miami-Dade State Attorney said on Wednesday.

Katherine Fernandez Rundle said she will give more details on Wednesday afternoon about the arrest and allegation against the brothers after an investigation by the Miami Beach Police Department and the state attorney’s office, with assistance from federal agencies.

Oren and Tal Alexander are the founders of Official, a firm that focuses on luxury real estate properties in Miami, as well as New York City, the Hamptons and Los Angeles. The brothers have faced civil sexual assault lawsuits in New York.

Oren Alexander faces three charges of second sexual battery with a bond of $150,000. Alon Alexander is facing one second-degree felony sexual battery, but bail has not been set. Charges against Tal Alexander were not immediately known.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office in New York also has scheduled a news conference for Wednesday afternoon to discuss the brothers and their charges.

In an indictment unsealed on Wednesday, federal authorities are charging the brothers with drugging and raping “dozens of victims” for more than a decade. The brothers face conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and sex trafficking by force, fraud, and coercion, according to a New York federal indictment.

The lavish lifestyle of the brothers, some of it captured in the New York state civil lawsuits, described the real estate brokers as jet-setting property stars who crisscrossed the country to make expensive residential deals on the East Coast and West Coast.
