CELEBRITIES are constantly put under pressure to outdo each other – and putting them on the red carpet only adds fuel to the fire.
Last night, we saw celebrities come out in droves for the London Fashion Awards and despite temperatures hitting 5°c last night, it didn’t stop them from revealing everything to make a statement.

From actress Julia Fox to supermodel Malika El Maslouhi, it seems celebrities were quick to show off their best assets last night no matter the weather and brought back ‘the naked dress’.
While these women were brazen enough to bare all, here Fabulous’ Fashion Editor Clemmie Fieldsend reveals how you can wear it off the red carpet and what she really thought of the looks.
Julia Fox
“No stranger to pushing the fashion boundaries, 34-year-old Julia Fox bared all in a sheer, corseted style dress,” says Clemmie.
“The actress and former girlfriend of Kanye West did her best impression of Dickens character Miss Havisham, complete with decaying coloured outfit and frightening make-up.”
While her outfit may have looke dlike it was from the Victorian era, we’re positive no one would be wearing it then as it looked like she might fall out of it at any moment.

Mathilda Mace
Mathilda has made a name for herself with her special effect make-up, lreavign a trail of celebirty gfans in her wake who include Megan Thee Stallion and FKA twigs.
Although make-up is her speciality it seems she wanted to get all eyes on her at the London Fashion awards too.
Clemmie says: “Celebrity make-up artist Mathilda Mace braved London’s winter chill with, well, not much.
“She wore a string PVC look but made sure she didn’t get too cold by wearing knee high boots and faux fur jacket.”

Meadow Walker
While model and daughter of the late actor Paul Walker, Meadow also opted for the naked dress look, she decided to go for a more demure look in a stunning sheer gown.
“With chiffon delicately draped across her chest and stomach that followed into a see-through skirt the 26-year-old nailed classy, naked dressing,” Clemmie explains.
Opting for dark colours and mixed textures in the dress instantly gives it an elegant feel while keeping her bottom half covered adds balance.

Alice Pagani
“Italian actress and model Alice scores high with her sheer look in black,” adds Clemmie

“The 26-year-old opted for a ruched style that flowed into lace, but the hem of the skirt spoiled the look by being in a heavier and denser fabric.”
Although Alice kept little to the imagination when it came to her chest, she still looks classy thanks to the long sleeves and turtle neck style.
While we can’t imagine the look kept her too warm on the red carpet – it was the perfect blend of sexy and covered up that gave the impression of a lusty vampire.

How to wear the naked dress
Here, fashion editor Clemmie Fieldsend shares how to pull off the viral trend with class.
KNOWING how to channel the naked trend isn’t actually that tricky to master.
- You probably do it all the time without even thinking about it. For example with your winter tights. 10 – 20 Denier tights shade and sculpt the legs and make a statement even if you’re wearing a plain, old jumper dress.
- Sheer, light dresses that we reach for in summer can work for winter too. Just layer with camisoles and slip dresses underneath to add layers for warmth – and for your dignity.
- You don’t have to show everything off, look for styles with sheer inserts such as detailing on sleeves or the hems of skirts. M&S have a sheer black pencil skirt this season that you can wear with a chunky knit or a fitted evening top.
- If you don’t want to layer underneath your look then build on top. An oversized, masculine blazer over a see-through dress adds to your already sexy look.
- Sheer tops are everywhere this season but keep an eye out for style with ruching that gather together to cover your modesty whilst still giving the illusion of having nothing on.
Malika El Maslouhi
The model seemed to have forgotten her bra for the red carpet and left her white briefs on display in her white frock.
Clemmie says: “Whilst model Malika, who has walked for Gucci, Chanel and Dior, is an Italian beauty with her gorgeous looks and model figure, in this dress the 22-year-old looks like she had a fight with some old curtains – and lost.
“The different styles of see-through lace all cut up together makes it look like her dress wasn’t finished in time.”
