IT’S almost that time of year again, that’s right, time to dust off your decorations and put up your Christmas tree.
Love it or loathe it, spending time carefully placing each bauble is something that will always get you in the festive spirit.

Of course, putting up your Christmas tree does come with some downsides, like the clean up afterwards and just how time consuming it all is.
That’s why The Range have saved shoppers the hassle with their Deluxe Pop-up Tree.
The 6ft tree is pre-lit and will set you back £9.99 for the pleasure.
Although it’s called a pop-up tree, perhaps ‘drop down tree’ would be more appropriate, because the tree doesn’t really pop-up at all.
In a video shared to TikTok, The Range demonstrated how the easy it is to assemble the tree, and it really does only take seconds to do.
But the no fuss tree left some shoppers scratching their heads as they claimed it took all the magic and fun out of it.
The viral video currently has 3.5 million views and over 600 comments, mostly from shoppers stunned by the price.
“That should be £40 at most,” one stated.
And a second agreed: “Definitely not worth almost one hundred pounds.”
Meanwhile, someone else called the price of the tree “outrageous”.
Others were less concerned with the price and more bothered by the fact the tree takes the “magic” out of it.
“It’s more fun sorting the colours of the branches while your family puts them on the tree it’s like a whole production, I love it,” one person commented on the viral video.
“It takes all the magic away,” another said.
And someone else noted: “Since it’s half the effort it should be half the price.”
However, another TikTok user pointed out that the tree could be good for people who are “less mobile” and still want to celebrate with a decorated tree.
“It’s good for older people,” even though it’s pricey,” another chimed in.
The Range isn’t the only shop offering pop-up trees though, as many noted, other retailers like Asda have easy to assemble trees.
Last year, Asda had a pop-up Tree for just £20, for example.
How to look after your real Christmas tree
HERE’S what you need to know if you’re buying a real Christmas tree:
First thing’s first: buy a pot (if it doesn’t come in one already).
You’ll need to treat your tree just like a houseplant and give it water and attention.
Make sure the container has good drainage – and it’s a good idea to put something underneath to catch the excess water.
Check the soil everyday to make sure it’s not drying out.
If it feels dry, give it some water. If it still feels moist, leave it alone as too much water can also kill a tree.
Also check the LED bulbs on your tree lights aren’t too hot as they could burn it, and keep your tree away from radiators.
When Christmas is over, try planting it in the garden so you can dig it up and use it again next year.
It’s a good idea to take it out of its pot when you do re-plant it though, as large trees don’t survive well in pots as their roots need space to grow.
