MINTANA (2.28 Bath, nap)

She clocked a bit personal best when winning by four lengths here last Monday and is back under a 5lb penalty. She enjoyed the cut in the ground 10 days ago and gets on well with claimer Joe Leavy. This race is no tougher and it will be disappointing if she doesn’t scoot in again for trainer James Evans.

HARRYS HOPE (3.35 Stratford, nb)

Has been a revelation since going over fences, winning on debut at Southwell by seven lengths before following up at Exeter This slight step up in trip holds no fears and he can strike for Favourite columnist Ben Pauling.

SAM’S AMOUR (2.35 Stratford, treble)

She jumped beautifully when clearing 15 lengths clear of his rivals at Exeter earlier this month. That was over a similar trip on decent ground and she looks hard to beat.

HARVARD SOUND (6.15 Southwell, Lucky 15)

He has won his past two novice contests easily and starts handicapping from a fair mark under Neil Callan.
