MCDONALD’S fans have just hours left to cash in their Monopoly winners and claim major prizes and tasty freebies.
The popular game has been up and running for six weeks but all the remaining stickers will become officially invalid later today.
McDonald’s Monopoly ends at 23:59:59 on Tuesday evening with players now having little time left to cash in their winning stickers.
Customers have been urged to use up their Instant Win free food and drink items they have bagged as they won’t carry over after the competition has ended.
Those who have freebies which apply only to the breakfast menu such as a McMuffin or a Cheesy Bacon Flatbread and a Hash Brown only have until 11:30am to claim these freebies.
The fast food chain’s beloved game actually ended on October 15 with no more tokens being handed out with food and drink items.
But the final date to claim all the game pieces comes today.
Among the top prizes this year was £100,000 in cash for five winners as well as 2,000 “gold cards”, which give you a free Maccies meal a week for a year.
Other prizes on offer included a Mini electric car, a £2,000 Jet2holiday and a JBL Audio bundle.
Along with the end of Monopoly, a whole host of menu items will also be removed on Wednesday.
These are the six items that customers will have to wave goodbye to:
- Philly Cheese Stack
- Chicken Big Mac
- Mozzarella Dippers
- Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry
- Twix Caramel McFlurry
- Twix Latte
But as always when they remove certain items, a new load of available treats are being added.
McDonald’s has announced two new hot drinks and a number of food items – all just in time for Halloween.
A Chilli Double Cheeseburger is set to spice up foodie’s orders across the UK.
The new cheeseburger will feature two 100% British and Irish beef patties, two slices of cheese, onions, jalapenos, pickles and spicy relish in a toasted bun.
And it will cost just £2.49 and sit on the fast food giant’s saver menu.
New cheese bites are also coming in with Mozzarella and Emmental Bites set to steal the show for hungry fast food lovers.

The chunks of cheese will also feature a smoky caramelised onion-flavoured breadcrumb coating.
Like the various McDonald’s cheesy offerings in the past, these will come as a single serving size or in a sharing box.
A Halloween themed M&M’s McFlurry is also being sold this week.
In terms of drinks, a never-seen-before Toasted Marshmallow Latte is being included as well as a Toasted Marshmallow Hot Chocolate.
Other changes to McDonald’s in October
McDonald’s has recently launched a new range of mini hashbrowns for the first time ever.
Customers are able to buy the twist on a classic menu item across more than 1,300 UK restaurants.
Foodies can pick up a five-pack for £1.49 while a 15-piece sharebox will cost £2.99.
It is not yet clear whether the hashbrowns will become a permanent menu item, so if you want to give them a go, make sure you’re quick.
The fast-food joint has just recently also welcomed the return of the McRib burger after a near-decade hiatus.
If you are keen to try it yourself, it is currently on sale for £4.49 as an individual item or £6.19 as part of a medium extra-value meal deal, which also includes fries and a medium drink.
Fans went wild when Maccies teased the return of the pork-based burger, but when it landed in stores earlier this month it was met with mixed reviews.
Remember though that prices do vary from restaurant to restaurant so you could pay more or less than these prices.
