A new series of discussions focused on achieving a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and facilitating the release of hostages held by the Palestinian Hamas movement has recently concluded in Doha, as reported by Al Arabiya TV, although details regarding the results of these negotiations were not disclosed.

Additionally, another set of consultations concerning the Gaza Strip commenced in Doha on Sunday, featuring the head of the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad, David Barnea, alongside CIA Director William Burns. The Qatari delegation was led by Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.

Before his arrival in Doha, Barnea engaged with representatives from Egypt’s security agencies in Cairo on October 25, given Egypt’s role as a mediator in the ongoing conflict.
