What are the Home Nations Series events?
The Home Nations Series includes four tournaments hosted in the four home nations of the United Kingdom.
They are as follows:
- English Open (September 16-22)
- Northern Ireland Open (October 20-27)
- Scottish Open (December 9-15)
- Welsh Open (February 12-18)
The trophies for each of the Home Nations Series events are named after snooker icons of the respective country:
- English Open – The Steve Davis trophy
- Northern Ireland Open – The Alex Higgins trophy
- Scottish Open – The Steven Hendry trophy
- Welsh Open – The Ray Reardon trophy
