Territory – Available from Thursday
If the success of Yellowstone and its spin-offs has taught us anything, it’s that Westerns are as popular as ever. All of which bodes well for this series set in the Australian outback.
For years, the Lawson family have owned Marianne Station, the world’s largest cattle farm. However, when the station is suddenly left without a clear successor, it sparks a power struggle between the family, rival cattle barons, gangsters, billionaire miners and Indigenous elders.
Featuring a cast that includes Anna Torv and Sam Corlett, this is big-budget, high-stakes drama with a perfect blend of gloss and grime.

Doctor Odyssey – Available from Thursday
A drama series that blends the high-octane medical traumas of ER with the seafaring glamour of Below Deck? Yes, please. Leap aboard a luxury cruise ship where the crew work hard and play harder – particularly Dr Max Bankman (Joshua Jackson), the ship’s new doctor, and his team.
Miles from the nearest shore, Max and nurses Avery (Phillipa Soo) and Tristan (Sean Teale) must keep the passengers safe but also preserve the idyllic image of life on the ship. Also starring Don Johnson, expect enjoyably stormy seas.

Before – Available from Friday
Billy Crystal is best known for comic roles in classic films such as When Harry Met Sally, but don’t expect a laughter-fest from this 10-episode psychological thriller, in which Billy plays a child psychologist, Eli, who’s grieving the recent death of his wife, Lynn.
Events become unsettling when he takes on the case of a disturbed, seemingly possessed young boy, Noah, who appears to have an uncanny link to Eli’s past. But how much of it is in Eli’s head? While not the most original set up, Billy’s unfussy performance makes Before a haunting experience.
ACORN TV
Whitstable Pearl – Available from Monday
Cosiness and cold-blooded murder have long made a winning combination – on screen, at least – and with its warming mix of whimsy and wickedness, this is a perfect example. As the third season opens, Pearl’s (Kerry Godliman) restaurant – The Whitstable Pearl – is thriving, but she’s still being side-tracked by helping DCI Mike McGuire (Howard Charles) with all manner of fiendish cases.
Meanwhile, matters are set to get complicated in their personal lives, with cracks starting to show in Pearl and Tom’s (Robert Webb) relationship. Could Pearl and Mike finally find a way to admit their feelings for each other?
Prime Video
Nautilus – Available from Friday
Jules Verne’s classic 19th-century science-fiction novel is given the 21st-century, CGI-laden television treatment. It’s 1857 and the cutthroat British East India Company are using slave labour to build a secret submarine called the Nautilus, which they plan to use to further their insatiable quest for power and riches.
However, they’ve reckoned without Captain Nemo (Shazad Latif), one of the slave team who designed and constructed the Nautilus, and is plotting to take control of the vessel and use it to exact revenge on the East India Company. Spectacular underwater adventures.
