EastEnders fans demand THREE siblings are axed over ‘vile’ behaviour

Occasional Digest - a story for you

EASTENDERS fans are seething about a set of siblings who they say should be given the chop over their vile on screen behaviour.

They have no love for the Knight siblings who have all been slated online for their cheating and all-round bad behaviour since arriving in Walford.

Gina Knight, played by Francesca Henry, is the feisty older daughter of George Knight while Anna Knight, portrayed by Molly Rainford, is her younger sister.

Meanwhile half-brother Junior is played by Micah Balfour.

But EastEnders fans say have been less than impressed with their characters on the soap.

Cheating Junior, has been sneaking around with floozy Cindy, Anna was caught kissing Freddie (Bobby Brazier) and Gina once shacked up with rapist Dean Wicks.

With all that history, and little in the way of redeeming features, fans want them gone.

In a fan forum, one fan cut to the chase: “In regards to the Knights – Junior, Gina, and Anna all need to just go.

“Junior’s one of the worst characters in recent memory, Gina lost any good will when they disgustingly made her shack up with her father’s partner’s daughter’s rapist, and Anna…well, the less said the better.”

Another agreed: “They might have dull to little personalities or development but Junior is just a loathesome sleazebag with no redeeming features.”

Another added: “Still better than his dreadful sisters who don’t have a personality between them!”

But one stuck up for the girls, saying: “Gina and Anna are far superior. Junior is one of if not the worst character in the shows history.”

EastEnders fans beg bosses to axe ‘hypocritical’ character

One went further to widen the net including other cast members they thought added little to the soap: “Junior, the new Mitchell brothers, George’s brothers, Avani, Reiss…none of these are compelling characters and yet they have centre-stage at the moment.”

EastEnders is on Monday to Thursday from 7.30pm on BBC One and BBCiPlayer.
