THE family of a 32-year-old woman who died in a car smash have paid tribute to the “inspiring writer” whose “smile brightens up a whole room”.

Shejuti Pasha, 32, was killed in the smash in the Staffordshire town of Newcastle-under-Lyme on September 25.

Paying tribute, her family said: “Shejuti was pursuing her dream of becoming a famous writer before she passed away.

“She was an inspiring writer who had so much to give in this world -she was one of the most determined people there ever was.

“Her smile can brighten up a whole room and her intelligence was a sight to behold. We will all miss her dearly.”

Staffordshire Police said: “Shejuti Pasha, aged 32, was travelling as a passenger in a silver Toyota Icon when the car collided with railings on High Street, Knutton, just after 10.30pm on Wednesday 25 September.

“Shejuti was taken to hospital but sadly died as a result of her injuries.

“The driver and a second passenger from the car were not injured.

“A 22-year-old man, from the Newcastle-under-Lyme area, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and drink driving.

“He has been released on conditional police bail while our enquiries continue.
