In the comments section of her introduction VT on Instagram, one person wrote: “Seems fake or forced? Idk, some acting going on there.”

Someone else agreed: “Shes an actress . Def not a real housemate?????”

But some of Rosie’s real life pals soon swooped in to defend her, with one writing: “she’s not I can assure you! I work with her and she’s real and very much like this.”

Another added: “she’s one of the kindest people I know!”

A third said: “She’s one of my best friends, she’s a little eccentric and that is who she is. She is so genuine and has a massive heart! She’s just nuts, but not fake or forced.”

While a fourth chimed in with: “As someone that knows Rosie, What you guys are seeing is 100% the real Rosie & she is the most loveliest & sweetest person!”

One more claimed: “She works with my mum… I can genuinely say she is exactly like this in real life!”

Originally hailing from Essex, Rosie, who now lives in Cornwall, was the first contestant introduced last night.

Speaking about why she wanted to be a BB housemate, she told ITV: “This is something I’ve always wanted to do and I know it’s so easy to say but it’s the best opportunity. I can’t tell you how grateful I am.
