ALDI shoppers are bagging themselves bargains ahead of next summer as a family pool price drops to £2.99.

The major supermarket chain has shocked fans once again by slashing the price of a jumbo pool to less than a fiver.

Although the summer holidays may be over, end-of-summer sales aren’t.

One excited Aldi shopper took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group to share the news.

The shopper posted a photo of Aldi’s Rectangular Family Pool, plus a snap of her receipt, clearly showing proof of the £2.99 payment.

“£2.99 !!!!! Putting this away for next summer!!!!” posted the happy shopper.

The pool also features a “practical beverage holder”.

Rectangular in shape with measurements of 201 x 151 x 46cm, pools of a similar size usually sell for a higher price.

Debenham’s Rectangular Family Paddling Pool (201 x 150 x 51cm) currently sells for £17.95.

Or, you could head to Amazon and nab this same pool for £12.40.

John Lewis, also holding a sale have a paddling pool on offer for £11.

The measurements for this one are 211 x 132 x 46cm.

This news comes after another shopper shared another of Aldi’s deals with the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group.

It showed the German retailer had slashed the price of one of its baby change mats from £2.99.

The post racked up plenty of likes and comments from parents looking to grab the baby essential.

One said: “Need to go get one at this price.”

A second said: “I’m getting dressed lol.”

“I need”, stated a third.

It’s always important to check before making the trip that your Aldi branch has these fabulous items in stock.

Typically, when they’re gone they’re gone.
