Boots‘ “Introductory Offer – Better than half price” includes a massive saving on one particular item: The Lynx On The Go Collection.

It could just be the perfect gift for him this Christmas.

The set features two men’s deodorant body sprays, two antiperspirants and two 3-in-1 body, face & hair washes in two irresistible fragrances.

All are packed inside an exclusive Lynx overnight bag.

The product was £34 but is now on sale for a mere £16.50.

An eagle-eyed shopper shared with the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group their discovery of the bundle: “Such a bargain.

“I thought it to be a much smaller bag from Boots.

“I ordered three, two of them are for two people who love travelling and one is for my dad who is always in and out of the hospital.”

Shoppers were quick to share their thoughts on the bundle: “I got one of these too, well chuffed with it!”

“Need to get these for the boys xxx”, said a second person.

“These looks good” said a third.

A fourth person said: “Corrr Christmas sorted.”

It comes after Boots offered another mega sale in August, with up to 60 per cent off makeup and skincare products.

The retailer has slashed the prices of items including facial serum, false eyelashes and a grooming set.

The lowest product on sale, costing just £2, was the Aroma Active Laboratories Tube Key.

The same tube key costs £5 on Amazon or £6 on Look Fantastic.

Boots customers can also get a set of Eylure Pride-themed false eyelashes for £4 as part of the retailer’s clearance.

Other retailers, including eBay and False Eyelashes, sell the same product for £7.99.

How to bag a bargain

SUN Savers Editor Lana Clements explains how to find a cut-price item and bag a bargain…

Sign up to loyalty schemes of the brands that you regularly shop with.

Big names regularly offer discounts or special lower prices for members, among other perks.

Sales are when you can pick up a real steal.

Retailers usually have periodic promotions that tie into payday at the end of the month or Bank Holiday weekends, so keep a lookout and shop when these deals are on.

Sign up to mailing lists and you’ll also be first to know of special offers. It can be worth following retailers on social media too.

When buying online, always do a search for money off codes or vouchers that you can use vouchercodes.co.uk and myvouchercodes.co.uk are just two sites that round up promotions by retailer.

Scanner apps are useful to have on your phone. Trolley.co.uk app has a scanner that you can use to compare prices on branded items when out shopping.

Bargain hunters can also use B&M’s scanner in the app to find discounts in-store before staff have marked them out.

And always check if you can get cashback before paying which in effect means you’ll get some of your money back or a discount on the item.
