ALDI has launched a special deal on a home makeover essential that can spruce up your kitchen for just £5.99.

The product can be applied to worktops, table tops or any other upcycling project and instantly bring it to life.

Deco Craft DIY Vinyl Wrap is currently listed for £5.99 on Aldi’s website but do note that this deal is only available for purchases in store.

The item will be available in the German supermarket’s stores from tomorrow (September 8) but be warned they may sell out fast.

The roll comes in a selection of colours: Marble Grey, Dove Grey, Natural Oak, White Gloss, Black Marble or Concrete Grey.

Aldi’s product page states that the wrap is easy to use and all you have to do is “simply peel and stick” the vinyl to a clean, smooth surface.

This could easily be used to cover up some worse for wear sections of your kitchen, such as dilapidated cabinets or stained worktops.

One success story saw a woman give her kitchen a major makeover earlier this year using similar vinyl wrap.

She had bought the convenient conversion item from B&M and turned her council house kitchen into a much brighter space on the cheap.

The variety store currently has a similar product to Aldi, its Marble Grey Self Adhesive Film, on sale for £6.99.

Dunelm goes one step further with its Fablon White Marble Sticky Back Plastic, listed for just £5.

Both Dunelm and B&M’s wraps, as well as Aldi’s, come in 67.5cm by 2m rolls.

While Aldi’s boasts a temperature resistance of 70°C, B&M’s goes up to 75°C.

Dunelm did not list the temperature resistance for its product.
